Great glider and cushion

"The glider was easy to assemble. The bench cushion looks great and fits perfectly. The glider is a great addition to our front porch."

Bench Seat Cushion and Shipping Concerns

"The cushion itself is comfortable, fits the seat of the bench well, and the color goes well with our outdoor space. It doesn't really need the ties to keep it in place, and they are a little awkward anyway (not long enough to actually tie them down). There is a strange bump in the cushion likely due to how it was shipped (see photos). It was in a box that was about three times the size of the cushion with no padding of any kind to keep it from shifting around inside the box. The box was standing on end, so the cushion didn't have any support to keep it from bending over. Box arrived with damage - already open essentially. Also, it took a long time for the shipment to arrive. Tracking of the shipment indicated that twice a new label had to be generated due to it being unreadable. For some reason once the box was in Phoenix, it was shipped to Kingman (and back again?) before finally making it's way to the correct destination."

Love our glider!

"Gorgeous color, true to website, easy instructions, very comfortable and really completed our patio vibe. Only wish we could use it more. . . waiting for air quality to improve! Great communications on shipping and helpful customer service, too! Thank you!"

"I’m disappointed that a nearly 1000 dollar purchase wasn’t properly verified before shipping. I’m sure you’re doing your best and I know it’s not malicious, but this is a big purchase for my family and I. It was unfortunate for it to not feel as big to you. It’s all fine quality but you need to work to be mindful of the moment you are entrusted with. I will purchase more products from you in the future."

Q&A

Did the design team ever make a back cushion for the glider?
Hi Susan, Thank you for your question. We do not currently have back cushions available for our gliders, but we do sell a lumbar pillow, SKU # XUP0146. Thanks, Lana
Will this cushion fit the chippendale 48 inch glider?
Hi Sona, Yes, XPWS0012 is the correct cushion for the 48-inch Chippendale Glider and you can find the cushion under the Shop Accessories tab on the glider product page. Thanks for asking! Lana
Will this cushion work with 46” backless traditional bench?
Thank you for your question, Rita! We currently don't have a cushion that pairs with our backless benches as there is no way to secure the cushion to the bench. Thanks, Lana
How closely does Cabana Stripe Crimson fabric match or coordinate with Sunset Red Polywood? We don't plan to use the cushion on the Sunset Red Chair, but on a grey glider nearby and would like it to match.
Hi Shawn, Thank you for your inquiry. Our Cabana Stripe Crimson fabric is a deeper red than our Sunset Red POLYWOOD lumber. A few of the fabrics that will complement the Sunset Red chair and offer a nice contrast to a grey glider are Primary Colors Coral, Chelsey Trellis Coral and Crimson Linen. All of these samples are available for purchase on our website. https://www.polywood.com/styles/samples.html Thank you, Lana
What color is midnight linen?
Hello Angela, The midnight linen is a deep purple color. You can purchase a sample to see in person before making your purchase. Please search samples on the website, or click the link below. https://www.polywood.com/styles/samples.html Thanks for asking, Mindy
Any possibility you know if the crimson linen is close in color to Sunbrella Jockey red?
Hi Barb, Thank you for reaching out with your question. We no longer have Sunbrella fabric available, however we do have Crimson Linen samples available for purchase. You can purchase our Cushion Performance Fabric Samples here on our website at: https://www.polywood.com/performance-fabric-sample-mkms018.html. I hope this helps with the comparison! Best wishes, Michelle
What color is marine indigo? Is it black or purple? Thanks!
Hi there, Amy! That is a great question. Marine Indigo is more of a muted blue color. It could be compared to a dark, washed blue jeans color in-person. So it is not a black or purple kind of color. Our Navy Linen would be more of a vibrant, dark navy color, and Midnight Linen is closest to black. Best wishes, Jay C.
Just bought the glider. Is this a pair of cushions or just the bottom. If it is just the bottom, will a second cushion fit the back of the glider?
Hi Rodney, This cushion is a seat cushion and meant for just the seat. We do not sell a cushion that would be for the back. I would not suggest another one to use for the back, as it was not designed to be used that way and may not work properly. I can pass your interest in back cushions for gliders on to our design team. Does this size cushion work with the 48" traditional bench?
Hi Patty, Yes, if the bench you already have is the Traditional Garden 48" Bench, this cushion will work perfectly. Thanks for asking! Kaylan
Is this just the cover or is the foam insert included?
Hello, This is for the full cushion including the fabric as well as the fiber material inside. Thanks for the great question! Ashley
Does this cushion have tie-downs that keep it from blowing away when it’s windy?
Hello, There will be a pair of ties on each end to tie the cushion to the product. Thanks for asking! Ashley
