Comfortable Chair

"We found these chairs relatively easy to assemble. We had to slightly expand the size of the holes to fasten the legs. They are very comfortable. The color is a lighter brown than the rockers we got years ago which was disappointing, and the chairs are a bit narrow. We have this style for dining chairs also and have always thought they were narrow. We hoped as loungers that these would be wider. Still, a good solid chair which we now prefer more than wood or less sturdy materials."

We like the design of

"We like the design of the Chippendale, so I added the chaise lounge to our rockers & table. We chose Polywood because of the weight of the furniture as we are in a “wind tunnel” area frequently. The chaise is standard size and sits comfortably. Putting it together was easy. I’ll add a cushion to the chaise as I find my husband “resting his eyes” as he reads on it. We get hot afternoon sun, so having something that won’t fade was also important for us."

Can the lounger be used an in pool lounger?
Hi Sarah, Great question! POLYWOOD furniture can be used on the shallow ledge of a pool—also known as a tanning ledge or Baja shelf. However, we recommend removing it from salt water or chemically treated water as soon as you’re done using it and rinsing both the lumber and hardware with fresh water right away. Do you make any loungers with an 18" seat height for those of use with bad knees and long legs?
