What is the difference between the 65” Farmhouse trestle bench and the 65” Farmhouse side bench. The dimensions are the same and they appear identical in the pictures. Also, what is the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trestle?

Hi Maria, Great question! The 65” Farmhouse Trestle Bench and the 65” Farmhouse Side Bench differ mostly in their foot design. The feet on the Side Bench are longer compared to those on the Trestle Bench, giving it a slightly different look. However, the clearance from the bottom of the trestle to the ground is the same on both benches and measures 7.375 inches. I hope this helps! Hannah

Your description says tested for 300 pounds per seat and the seat width is full 65 in. I'm fine there's only one seat and it can only go 300 lb. But yet you put the following in a answer to a question Polywood furniture is tested to an ASTM standard of us to 400 pounds per seat. This bench could sit 3-4 people.

Hey Dale, That is a good question. With our backless benches we do not have a cushion for these we recommend as it is not the easiest thing to tie them down to and does not give a clean look if a cushion were to be on it. Thanks -Jason

Hi, I was wondering if these benches would work with the park picnic table. Would they be able to slide under the table when not in use?

Hello D.L., The Farmhouse Trestle 65" Bench is 13.62 inches wide. The EDGE 39" x 78" Dining Table has approximately 11 inches of clearance under the table, before you would bump into the legs. Hi Jess, That's a great question! The Farmhouse Trestle 65" Bench has a height of 17". The Farmhouse Trestle 37" x 72" Dining Table has a height of 29". The bench has a length of 65" and the table has a length of 72.25". This would allow the bench to slide under the table quite nicely when not in use. For this particular bench, we would recommend pairing it with the Lakeside 37" X 72" Farmhouse Dining Table, the Farmhouse 37" X 72" Dining Table, and the Rustic Farmhouse 39" X 75" Dining table. The length of the bench being 65" compared to the table length of 72" will allow you to include the bench with some extra table space as well. The bench height is 17" while the table height is 29.06". Based on comfort preferences of how high the bench is to the table, this should also work for you to pair the two items. Great question! If you put three people on the bench you'll have just over 21" for each seat or person. One thing to consider though, is that if you center the bench at the table, you're going to have about 15" where the table top extends beyond each end of the bench.
