POLYWOOD furniture is tested in a static environment and our dining height tables provide great stability in testing. The distance between the legs on this table are 13" apart so any base would need to be either that small or some of our customers have gone with the flat metal base that the table can sit on. I never thought too ask that question & my spouse is a vet. We bought this table for our beach cabin getaway & it is perfect for here. The property came with 2 older Polywood Adirondack chairs & table. I am fairly certain they’ve been here for at least a few years & they have held up as advertised.
