Very little quality control prior to shipping

"1. One chair leg bottom angle cut wrong. (need one new leg sent so I can replace) 2. About a third of the chair seat and back slats have residual 'hair' left on them from routing 3. I am missing screws that hold the flat portion of chair arm to the rail. These were factory installed. They did not fall out in the shipping box. I looked thoroughly. 4. Chair arms are sharp at edges ~ I will need to hit with file or sand paper. 5. For the cost of these chairs I expected so much better attention to details. 6. I can send you photos of the conditions found."

Adirondack Bar Chairs

"In the interest of quality control, I was able to assemble the first chair with no problem, but the drill holes on the seat of the second chair were on the wrong side and I ended up having to drill correct ones myself, so you may want to address this with the guys in the back of the shop. That said, this was my second order from Polywood - my entire backyard is furnished with Polywood - and it is absolutely the most well engineered, easiest product I have ever dealt with. I live in storm surge country, and there is no way any floodwater or wind is going to move that furniture around. It was a smart purchase, they are comfortable and look really nice."

"Great chair. Comfortable, sturdy and well made. Easy to assemble. Can be done with one person but 2 people make it easier. The bar height furniture is great. The curved back makes it very comfortable leaning back. Instructions were easy to follow. Polywood products, in my opinion, are exceptionally made. If you have trouble with your legs falling asleep in lower furniture, I highly recommend the bar height table and chairs with the rounded seats."

Loving Polywood!

"We are very happy with all our Polywood furniture. Everything arrived on a pallet in great shape. I did strip out 1 screw (my fault) during assembly, but Polywood had my back. Nice Quality but Poor Quality Assurance for Setup

"We were excited to receive our Polywood chairs, but unfortunately, the assembly process was more difficult than expected. Several of the pieces arrived with holes drilled in the wrong places, which required us to manually drill new holes to complete the setup. Additionally, two of the chairs were missing hardware, and one of the boxes did not include the necessary tool for assembly. While we appreciate the quality of the materials, the missing and misaligned components made for a frustrating start. We hope future shipments are more thoroughly checked before delivery."

Is this your tallest chair?
Hi Jack! Thank you for your question. The Nautical Curveback chair is 54.35", we have two other options that are a bit taller. Please check out the Vineyard Curveback chair (SKU#ADD602) that is 54.75" and the South Beach Bar Chair (SKU# SBD30) that is 56.5". Thank you, Amber
If I sit in your low Adirondack Chair the middle of the back of my head can rest against the chair back. Will that be the same if I sit in your Nautical (Tall) Adirondack chair?
Hi Peter, Great question! The seat back height on this chair is 26.5 inches. and the seat depth is 17.3 inches. A low seating Adirondack chair has a similar back height, but a slightly deeper seat depth at 18 inches. Your head may rest a little higher on the back of the Nautical Curveback Adirondack Bar Chair because there is less seat depth. Thanks, Lana

Hello Henry, I apologize, we do not have any specific suggestions, however you should be able to find furniture foot protectors at your local hardware or home goods store. They are also available online at places like Amazon. Please refrain from purchasing foot protectors that need to be screwed in or attached with hardware, as this could compromise the integrity of the furniture and would void your warranty. Do the black chairs get really hot in the sun?
Hello Chimene, Thank you for your interest in our POLYWOOD furniture. Our product is designed to be able to be used and withstand a variety of climates. With our darker lumber colors they are known to retain more heat especially if out in direct sunlight. What is the weight limit due the chairs?

Will the chair stay put in 25 mph winds?

This chair should do fine in those kinds of winds, however we cannot guarantee anything.
